Blog posting 2

This article discusses the Edmonton Oilers recent road trip to New York where they faced off against the Rangers on Sunday November 14, 2010.The Toronto Sun discusses how a  fight/s broke out between Steve Maclntyre and Derek Boogaard not once but twice during the game. According to the article Steve Maclntyre lost the first fight to Derek Boogaard but came back during the second fight looking much better throwing sevral punches and gaining back his confidence. As a result, the rest of Oilers got fired up and they might as well since they were getting dominated on the score board. Other fights broke out including Oilers Theo Peckham, Zack Stortini and Colin Fraser.

I agree with the article mainly because I  personally saw the game and all the facts that were presented seem to be reliable and coherant with what took place during the game.

Blog Review

I am reviewing the site and blog http://mtlcanadienshabs.blogspot.com/2009/11/jaroslav-halak-in-net-tonight.html which talks about the NHL Team the Montreal Canadians.

Design

The latest post talks about how and why Jaroslav Halack was traded form the Montreal Canadians. The blog is set up well and presented its point clearly. It is pretty easy to read without being distraced by flashing ads and commercials popping up. The site also is fairly easy to navigate through but some of the links to other recent posts are difficult to find. All the links seem to work well and the site flows reasonabally well.

Purpose

This sites purpose is to inform others of recent news that relates to the Montreal Canadians hockey team. The site keps up with all the recent events involving the Canadians and is mainly intended for fans of the Canadians.

Content

The content is readable and is relative to the point it is trying to portray. The content in the blog seems to be accurate and the writting looks to be original. The writting looks to be done profensionally and easy to follow clearly.

Writing Mechanics

The wriiter expresses thier content with mainly through thier specific thougts, but still seems to be profesional. The gramer and spelling is in order and is mostly accurate.

Blog Activity

Most of the posts are mainly from 2009 but the latest one is from 2010. Comments are usally given when the article is first posted, but there is often just one or two. The author does not seem to respond to any of the comments.

Belivebility

Could not find any find any personal information about the blogger. The blogger does seem to have accurate knowledge of the subject they are discussing. The author has a favorites bar which has several supporting links where he/she possily gets thier infornmation from. The bloggers claims look to be reasonable.
